The Youth Involvement Committee was organized by and under the direction of Mayor Blake, and was initially presented in his Inauguration speech in December 2015.
The committee brings together a diverse group of residents, students, local college graduates, city officials, and school administrators to develop a strategic plan around encouraging more youth (between ages 16-30) to become active participants in local government and civic issues.
