The City of South Portland's Economic Development Committee administers a Business Awards Program that recoginizes outstanding businesses within the community on an annual basis. 2017 Nominations are now open, with a deadline of September 29, 2017.

The City is seeking an election Warden and Ward Clerk for District 4 and a Ward Clerk for District 5 to serve for the November 7, 2017 election.   These positions pay $15/hour with paid training.  If interested in learning more about the duties and requirements of this important role in public service, please contact the City Clerk at (207) 767-7627 or escully@southportland.org.

A hilarious new screwball comedy, Nice Work if You Can Get It pokes fun at the Prohibition era in a clash of elegant socialites and boorish bootleggers.
