What does this mean?  The City of South Portland has adopted a policy based on guidance from CDC.  Effective September 2, 2021, all visitors and employees entering city facilities are required to wear face coverings regardless of vaccination status.  Meetings are encouraged to be held remotely.

Election Day is November 2, 2021
All polling places will be open from 7:00am until 8:00pm on Election Day. 
You may now request your absentee ballot for the November 2 election.  When ballots arrive (around October 2), we'll mail you your ballot. Then you can return it - either by mail or drop off at the City Clerk's office using the dropbox outside of City Hall.  If you prefer to vote absentee in person at City Hall, you may do so starting around October 2.  To request your ballot online, click here.   For more information, visit www.southportland.org/elections
The City is looking for residents to serve on various Boards & Committees. 
 
Residents are encouraged to fill out an application online or in person at the City Clerk's office located at City Hall during normal business hours.   You can read more about the City's boards and committees on the City's website here

On August 28, 2021, we gathered at the Redbank Community Center in South Portland and spent the day learning about STREAM topics such as propulsion, robotics, drone flight & imaging, creation of music in digital spaces, rockets, weaving as story telling, local youth ecology projects, lasers, 3 dimensional mapping of interior spaces, and much more from local subject matter experts!  READ MORE
